Desert Alternative was born in 2018 as the name to represent my handmade polymer jewelry business. Since then, it has undergone a few evolutions, but my intentions have always remained the same—to use my creativity as a way to support and uplift others.
In 2023, I took a leap of faith and earned a Continuing and Professional Education certificate from the University of Arizona in Applied Business Science and Digital Marketing. At the time, I had no idea what, why, or how I would use this certificate. I just had a gut feeling I needed to take advantage of the opportunity, and I’m so glad I did. This decision followed the completion of my B.A. in Psychology from U of A in 2021. I knew a background in marketing science and psychology could not hurt my credentials.
Here I am today, merging my creative and academic worlds, honing my educational and real-world experiences to help professionals and small businesses grow with clarity and confidence.
